Poinger Galerie: Benefit exhibition for the benefit of the family

On 21 May, a charity exhibition of the artist group Poinger Galerie will take place in the Rupert Mayer parish hall in Poing. The proceeds will go to a Poingen family whose house has been on fire.

Poing – On Sunday, 21 May, the group of artists from the Poinger Galerie is organising a charity exhibition in the hall of the Rupert Mayer parish home. From 11.30 a.m. to 14 p.m., directly after the Sunday service in the neighboring parish church. "We would like to help the family whose upper floor in the terraced house on Palisadenweg recently burned out," says organizer and Poinger Gallery Director Tamara Suchan.


Poing: 16 artists show and sell their works

16 artists exhibit works that can also be purchased. 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale will go to the family, Tuchan announces. They are present at the exhibition: Alfred Müller, Elisabeth Knerr, Fredi Laemmel, Georg Stahl, Ilse Niedermeier, Ingrid Bauer, Imrgard Kling, Martin Schlederer, Martina Plote, Natalia Ungemach, Petra Schmitt, Renata Urbanski, Stefan Pillokat, Stefani Kling, Tamara Suchan and Wally Bistrich.

Four weeks ago, the upper floor of the Oestreich family's terraced house on Palisadenweg in Poing-Nord burned out completely for reasons that have not yet been clarified. No one was injured. The volunteer fire brigades were able to prevent the flames from spreading to the neighbouring houses. As a result of the fire, the youth room was destroyed. According to the police, the damage caused is estimated at around 120,000 euros.

Doris Oestreich and her three children have been temporarily rented in Glonn. Her husband Sascha has stayed in the house and sleeps in the basement, where the smell of burning is not so strong. Currently, the family is busy clearing out the house in order to renovate it. The family has lived in the home for 17 years, they want to preserve the house and return completely after the renovation.
