Murder due to a debt of NIS 300: The Ayalon District Crime Fighting Unit in the Tel Aviv District solved the murder of Yosef Beilin last month in Holon. Over the past two weeks, the Crime Fighting Unit has conducted a complex investigation, during which investigators were able to solve the murder of Yosef Beilin, a 22-year-old resident of Holon on Cairo Martyrs Street at the end of last month.
The suspect, Avi Hailo, 24, also a resident of Holon, was arrested the day after the murder at a hotel in Eilat. The investigation revealed that the suspect approached the victim in a public park, where at the time he was sitting with his friends and began arguing with him about a NIS 300 debt following a failed drug deal. During an argument, the suspect stabbed the victim in the chest.

When the suspect went down to the lobby of the hotel in Eilat, the unit's detectives deployed at the scene arrested him and he was brought for interrogation at the Hilp offices in Tel Aviv. The suspect's detention was extended from time to time in the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court, and at the end of the investigation, a prosecutor's statement was filed regarding his intention to file an indictment against him and a request for detention until the end of the proceedings.
