The Supreme Court of Justice on Tuesday lifted the precautionary measure that suspended the gubernatorial elections in that province, after Juan Manzur's decision to step down from the electoral dispute.
Manzur had announced that in June the new district authorities can be elected, once the litigation in which the Supreme Court of the Nation ordered the suspension of the elections has been resolved.
Manzur's decision to abandon the electoral competition and decline his candidacy for lieutenant governor left the way open for the Court to restore to Tucumán the possibility of carrying out its elections.
