Pulling the strings: This evening (Tuesday), the new season of "Real Time" is expected to premiere, hosted by Assaf Lieberman, the investigative program of the Kan 11 Public Broadcasting Corporation. The opening investigation will deal with the Kohelet Forum, the policy and government relations body behind the legal reform and some of its senior officials who are close to key figures in the Israeli political system.

The inquiry will be interviewed for the first time by Dr. Michael Sarel, chief economist of the Kohelet Forum, who is expected to comment for the first time on his decision to oppose the legal reform promoted by the body of which he is one of its leaders. "This situation is dangerous," Sarel explains, "absolute power corrupts, and the temptation to use the power that this reform gives the coalition will be very strong. In the end, someone will be tempted."

In addition, the investigation is expected to track the Kohelet Forum's sources of funding, the people behind the policy proposals in various fields. Forum Director General Meir Rubin is expected to be interviewed for the investigation and address what is happening behind the scenes. Already last March, Israel Hayom reported that economic researcher Tom Sadeh had resigned from his position at the forum, claiming that he "cannot remain part of it."
