Catherine Corsini has come a long way. The Board of Directors of the Festival de Cannes, after a week of investigation and reflection, has finally selected his new film, The Return. An anonymous email sent in early April denouncing facts of "harassment, verbal and physical violence, humiliation and other behavior at least inappropriate" had sown doubt and trouble.
Rumors and fantasies followed. Swinging water bottle, light car accident, reports of sexual harassment against a coach and a stuntman, scene of unsimulated masturbation between minors ... While waiting for justice to do its work, the Festival has decided to include The Return in competition.
