Controversy around the name of a school in Calvados: the mayor of Monts-d'Aunay says she is "harassed"

"Every three days, I discover photos of myself hijacked on social networks, and I have received anonymous letters of death threats, including a photo where my body appears separated from my head ... It's been going on for over a year. It's starting to get really taxing psychologically. I thought about quitting. I have a family... " says Christine Salmon, mayor of Monts-d'Aunay (Calvados), a new town of 4,500 inhabitants. What the elected official describes as "harassment" are the repeated actions of a collective of former students of Pierre Lefèvre, whose primary school now bears the name. Indeed, at least fifteen students describe with their faces uncovered real abuses inflicted by this teacher, who then became mayor of the town for nearly thirty years and who, now in his eighties, does not wish to express himself.
