In one year, Mali has even gone from abstention to support for Vladimir Putin. This attitude only reflects the growing rejection of Westerners and particularly of France in the Sahel, where the Wagner militia is well established. Senegal's abstention was more surprising. This ignored the fact that anti-French sentiment - with multiple causes - is gradually spreading to all the populations of French-speaking Africa.
