A 62-year-old man was moderately injured in Ramat Gan on Thursday when he was hit by a motorcyclist fleeing from police. Last night, after a police chase in Holon, a 72-year-old motorcyclist was killed by a stolen vehicle, and so far the suspect driver who fled after the accident has not been caught.
Shortly after 1 p.m. today, police officers signaled a motorcyclist to stop on the Six Day Road. The motorcyclist did not obey the order and a mounted chase began. The motorcyclist ignored it and continued driving at high speed, posing a real risk to road users.

The fleeing motorcycle arrived at Operation Kadesh Street and drove quickly towards the waiting policemen, endangering them. The police also fired at the back of the motorcycle. While fleeing, at an intersection with Operation Kadesh, the rider hit the pedestrian and fled the scene.
MDA medics and paramedics provide medical treatment and refer a 62-year-old man in moderate condition with an abdominal injury to Beilinson Hospital. Menachem Stern and Israel Halperin, paramedics from the United Hatzalah motorcycle unit, said: "We provided first aid at the scene to the pedestrian who, according to passersby, was hit by a motorcycle. He was then evacuated to Beilinson Medical Center in fair condition." Police have continued to search for the motorcycle, but so far without success.
