White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan hosted National Security Council head Tzachi Hanegbi and Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer at the White House, according to an official White House statement, after the Israeli side refused to comment on their arrival in the United States in recent days.
Sullivan discussed with Hanegbi and Dermer continued coordination to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, and ways to deal with threats from Iran and its proxies. This is against the backdrop of the National Atomic Energy Agency report, such as the threats made by Prime Minister Netanyahu and the defense minister last night following repeated violations by Iran on the way to nuclear weapons.

Sullivan also referred to "the administration's goal of further improving Israel's security and economic integration throughout the Middle East." Apparently referring to reports about the Biden administration's desire to promote normalization between Israel and Saudi Arabia.

In conclusion, the White House statement said Sullivan also stressed the need to take additional steps to improve the lives of Palestinians. Finally, Sullivan reportedly "discussed the shared concern about Russia's deepening military relationship with Iran, and the importance of supporting Ukraine in defending its territory and citizens, including Iranian drones."
