Against the backdrop of a smiling photo of the two, TV presenter Ofira Asayag posted a particularly moving letter she wrote to her 1-year-old daughter Amelie in front of her 2.13 million Instagram followers on Sunday.

In the post, Asayag opened her heart and shared the challenge she faces every year when she chooses to send her children to study in a foreign country for a long period of several weeks. In the same breath, Asayag reminded herself and the heir to the throne of the importance and benefits of being away from the warm and caring home.
"Amelie, my love, my heart," Asayag turned to her daughter. "Every year my Amelie flies to Summer School and the separation is hard for her and me, and then comes the question, 'So why?' Because the love of my life, my princess has grown up and being away from home gives her so many good real-life experiences without mom and dad," she explained.

"Amelie is tempering, coping, getting to know new friends and different cultures. One month is like an eternity for me, but so powerful and enjoyable for her," she stressed. "Then I'll finish another package of Rescue and I'll get through. And Amelie (and soon Ariel and Eyal are flying) will receive a gift for life: independence and English on the level of Barack Obama, and soon to meet, the love of my life, Amelie, my Mankin," she signed warmly.
