Shocking sexual affairs: A 27-year-old man from Tel Aviv was arrested on suspicion of committing serious sexual offenses against minors aged 16-9, whom he tracked down and dubbed in WhatsApp groups. Yesterday, a prosecutor's statement was filed against him and his detention was extended.
The investigation began with a complaint filed with the police by the mother of a 13-year-old girl after she found conversations, correspondence and pictures of a sexual nature on her daughter's phone. Following the complaint, investigators from the Family Division of the Neighborhood Station opened an investigation, in which they uncovered an ongoing shocking story, including sexual abuse and rape of 10 minors, which the suspect located in a sophisticated and systematic manner.

According to the investigation, the suspect used to connect to WhatsApp groups in which the minors were also present, where he befriended them and gained their trust, while having conversations, with the minors sharing about the difficulties and complexities of life and the suspect advising and offering them help and protection from those who seek to harm them, including attackers, rapists and more.
After gaining their trust, the suspect would transfer the conversations to the Instagram and Telegram platforms in secret conversations so that the girls would not have documentation and would degenerate them into conversations of a sexual nature, video calls and sending photos and videos, with the suspect keeping the records. On several occasions, the suspect even tried to blackmail the minors by telling them that if they cut off contact with him, he would send the footage to their families.

During the investigation, it emerged that the suspect was not only aware of the age of the minors, but chose to talk to them because, according to him, they were the only ones who agreed to talk about any subject while older girls were too busy. The investigation material also revealed that the connections created sexual arousal and a sense of masculinity in the suspect.
Meanwhile, yesterday a prosecutor's statement was filed in his case regarding the intention to file an indictment against him and a request for detention until the end of the proceedings.
A cleaning worker committed indecent acts
Another affair: A cleaning worker from East Jerusalem was arrested on suspicion of committing indecent acts against a minor. On Friday morning, the police will ask for his detention to be extended.
In recent days, in the evening, a report was received of suspected indecent acts against a minor under the age of 14, and Jerusalem District Moriah police officers, who were called to a cultural compound in the south of the city, began efforts to locate the suspect and an investigation was launched.

It is suspected that during that evening, the suspect, a 29-year-old from Shu'fat, under some pretext, led the minor to a side room where he committed indecent acts against him. The victim managed to escape and reported the acts to his parents, while the suspect left the compound.
During searches and with the assistance of the security officer at the scene, the identity of the suspect became known, and on Thursday morning he was located and taken for interrogation at Moriah Station.
This morning, the suspect will be brought before the court, where the police will ask to extend his detention in order to continue the necessary investigative activities in his case.
