Cyclists broke into a junction between a road and a railway track, near the Lod railway compound (the safety center of Israel Railways)
Due to a malfunction in the railway electrical network, and in order to repair it, train traffic between Hadera station to the north and Netanya station to the south was halted, Israel Railways reported a short time ago (Monday). There are also changes and delays in train traffic on the line between Ashkelon and Tel Aviv.

Israel Railways emphasized that the crews are working to repair the malfunction and return traffic to normal as soon as possible. Israel Railways also operates shuttles between Hadera and Netanya as an alternative, but recommended that passengers "use alternative public transportation."
