Crowds demonstrate on trains: Shalom, Binyamina and Hof HaCarmel stations closed (Niv Aharonson)
Train traffic across the country was halted a short time ago (Tuesday) due to a computer malfunction, according to an announcement by Israel Railways. According to the announcement, the fault is being dealt with and it is not yet clear when train traffic will resume.
Following the malfunction, inspectors at train stations across the country told passengers to get off the trains and switch to alternative bus routes. In addition, Israel Railways claimed that this was not a cyberattack.

Earlier today, as part of the Day of Resistance Against the Legal Revolution, hundreds of demonstrators came to protest at train stations across the country. Following the protests, the police closed the Shalom stations in Tel Aviv, Hof HaCarmel in Haifa and Binyamina. At a demonstration held at the Peace Train Station, the demonstrators tried to go down to the platforms, but the police officers on the scene prevented them from doing so.
