A 47-year-old woman suspected of stabbing her companion at home on July 11 was placed in provisional detention this weekend according to information from Ouest France, confirmed to Le Figaro by the public prosecutor of Nantes. The forty-year-old would have seriously wounded with a knife her spouse with whom she had "casual" relations by hitting him on the shoulder blade and arm.

An argument gone wrong
The latter, who received a total interruption of work of fifteen days and saw his lung perforated, was found on the ground on July 13, in the common areas of a building in Nantes, Doulon-Bottière district. He reportedly went two days without treatment. Transported to the hospital, his prognosis is not engaged.
According to France Bleu Loire Océan, an argument broke out two days earlier in the couple. The woman then allegedly asked her companion to leave, which the latter refused. Although she admitted to having inflicted blows, she indicated that she had delivered them unintentionally. She was indicted for violence against a spouse with a weapon and failure to assist a person in danger. She is expected to be tried next September.
