Firefighters specializing in interventions in hazardous environments and the helicopter of the civil security were dispatched this Thursday to Bonni

About twenty firefighters were mobilized this Thursday afternoon in Bonnières-sur-Seine to help a 30-year-old woman who fell below a very steep hill. Problem: the rescuers were not able to extract it with ordinary means.

A team from the intervention group in dangerous environments (Grimp) of the Yvelines department was therefore called rue Marcel Pagnol, at the Octave Saubobert sports complex. This specialized unit is equipped with specific equipment and with particular know-how such as wall rescue, cavity rescue or helicopter winching maneuvers.

"The victim was unable to move due to a suspected ankle fracture. There is also a wound, which could suggest that it may be an open fracture, "says one on the side of the rescue teams.

The "Dragon 75" helicopter to the rescue

The civil security helicopter that intervenes throughout the Île-de-France, nicknamed Dragon 75, left Issy-les-Moulineaux (Hauts-de-Seine) to arrive in the late afternoon, around 18:30 p.m., in the commune of the Seine Valley located on the border of the department of Eure.

The thirty-year-old was then to be taken out on "a tray" before being transported to the hospital, either by air or by road, a choice that doctors had to make depending on the severity of her injuries. In addition to the fire brigade, an ambulance and a team from the Smur of Mantes-la-Jolie were also at the scene of the accident. At the end of the day, the operation was still ongoing.
