The protest march against the legal reform continued Saturday morning, with masses of Israelis marching towards Jerusalem. Traffic jams were recorded on Route 1 in the same area.

The protest is taking place against the backdrop of the coalition's intention to pass the bill to reduce reasonableness in the Knesset plenum in the coming week. This is part of the legal reform. Among other things, the proposal stipulates that the elimination of the reasonableness grounds will apply only to decisions made by ministers, the government and the prime minister, and deleted the words "any other elected official as determined by law." Failure to exercise the authority of a minister will also not be reasonable. For example, the Supreme Court will not be able to rule that if Levin does not convene the Judicial Selection Committee, it is an unreasonable step.

As a result, hundreds of reservist pilots signed a letter published on Friday warning them to stop volunteering for service. 1,142 reservists, including about 500 pilots, announced that they would suspend their volunteer service in the reserves due to the continuation of legal legislation. On Friday evening, it was reported that Defense Minister Yoav Galant was working to reach an agreement on the grounds of reasonableness.
