If alcohol disinhibits, it also heats up the spirits, often for the worse. On the night of Saturday to Sunday, the evening turned sour west of Cannes, at the level of the rue Francis Tonner. Around 4:30 a.m., three individuals who were more likely to kill each other with fists and knives for reasons that are unknown at this stage.
Two men in their twenties and of Tunisian origin were wounded with knives. One in the armpit, the other in the chest and buttock. The third, a 33-year-old of Libyan origin, escaped with lighter injuries after using a tear gas canister he was carrying. Notified, the emergency services took care of the three men who were hospitalized in the aftermath.
An investigation has been opened by the Urban Security of Cannes. All must be heard soon by the investigators in order to shed light on the responsibility of each.
