At around eight o'clock, a report was received at the MDA hotline in the Lachish area about a car accident between a vehicle and a motorcycle on Route 4 near the Brachia junction. Paramedics and paramedics arrived at the scene and pronounced a motorcyclist, a 34-year-old man, dead after he was found with no signs of life. The driver, about 70 years old, was taken to Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon in fair condition, with injuries to the head and limbs.

MDA emergency medics Ahmad Abu Mukh and Yakir Qandil, who arrived at the scene, said: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw a very serious car accident. The motorcyclist was lying on the road without a pulse and without breathing with multiple systemic injuries. We performed medical tests but his injury was critical and we had to pronounce him dead. The driver was conscious with injuries to his head and limbs. We gave him initial medical treatment in the field and evacuated him to hospital in fair condition."
