"Everyone has an opinion about Israel": Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was interviewed Sunday night on the American Fox News network and noted, among other things, why he does not comment on disputes of foreign countries.
"I've been in office for a total of 16 years, and I've never commented on internal debates in other democracies. Leaders can choose to do this. Everyone has an opinion about Israel, they don't have an opinion about rights in France or the demonstrations there or the debates taking place in other countries."
"It's okay," Netanyahu said. "We will make our decisions. In sovereign democratic countries, the government elected by the people makes the decisions, and that is how it will be in Israel."
