Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met today (Monday) with a delegation of Swedish parliamentarians at the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem. The Prime Minister thanked the MPs for their support in moving the embassy to Jerusalem and for their fight against anti-Semitism: "I am pleased to see that there is a change in Sweden's policy [towards Israel]."
They also discussed strengthening cooperation between Israel and Sweden in the fields of technology, artificial intelligence, the automotive industry, and more. Netanyahu emphasized the potential of cooperation between the countries.

"I would like to thank you for your steadfast and consistent support for the State of Israel. I am happy to see that there is a change in Sweden's policy," he said. "This is something that should have happened a long time ago, not only for the benefit of relations between Israel and Sweden, but for Sweden's benefit. Our partnership can bear fruit in many areas. I think this is an important start. So thank you very much and welcome."
National Security Council head Tzachi Hanegbi, Cabinet Secretary Yossi Fuchs, Netanyahu's political advisor and other officials also participated in the meeting.
