The Binyamin Regional Council recently began operating 11 modern buses, four of them bulletproof and seven stone-proofed, which arrived by special order for use by residents of the council, after receiving government approval to do so.
The buses were purchased by the transportation company "Electra Afikim" at an investment of NIS 6 million, and in addition to them, the company has recently set up a call center for public inquiries and has installed a dedicated contact person responsible for community relations with the residents.

According to Tal Cohen, the company's CEO, "Already during the past week it was possible to feel a significant improvement in the network of lines, and we intend to continue working to expand the network of lines and their quality for the welfare of passengers. We are aware of the difficulties experienced by the residents recently, and since the satisfaction of our customers is important to us, we have invested enormous resources in improving the service in the Binyamin Regional Council."
