At first, the police refused to allow him to enter the compound due to the lack of coordination of the visit - but later backtracked. "We came to the place, our place," Kellner said during the visit. "These joys come from the great abundance that He lavishes on us and also from our work, the investment, especially everyone involved in this important work," he said.

MK Ariel Kellner went up to the Temple Mount in an irregular manner on Tuesday afternoon, causing a slight confrontation between him and police officers who were there. Kellner came with his daughter, Tamar Geula, to the Mount on the occasion of her bat mitzvah.

In the afternoon, the hours of immigration permitted for Jews, Kellner arrived together with Rabbi Shimshon Alboim, head of the Temple Mount Administration, and asked to go up to the Mount. But then the police presented him with an unfamiliar procedure, according to which, as it turns out, a Knesset member is forbidden to go up to the Mount in the afternoon.

MK Kellner on the Temple Mount: "Our Place"

Kellner insisted on going up to the mountain, and a dialogue developed between him and the policemen, who suggested that he go up separately to the Chain Gate only. The MK refused and insisted on going on a full lap with the other immigrants, and finally the police approved his immigration.

"We have come to a place, our place, the place to which the Torah intends, the place to which the portion is intended, a place where we should give thanks for all the joys and goodness that G-d has rewarded with us, both as a people and as individuals," Kellner said, thanking the activists of the ascent to the Mount "These joys come from the great abundance that He lavishes on us and also from our work, the investment, especially everyone involved in this important work."
