Majd Tafesh (50) died of his wounds on Wednesday after being critically wounded in a shooting in Beit Jan that occurred two months ago, in which Bassam Qabalan (40) was also murdered.

Bassam Qabalan owned a paint and hardware store, and Majd Tafesh came to make a purchase. Bassem suggested to Majd that they return home, and they were shot to death on their trip together. Bassem was murdered instantly.
Majd was evacuated in critical condition to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya. Rescuers located the two men inside a car.
