Dozens of students demonstrated under the Education Ministry on Wednesday over the lack of stability in the education system and the fact that the wage agreement has not yet been signed.

Itai Kobi, Deputy Chairman of the National Youth Council, said: "I call on the Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance to convene for negotiations with Ran Erez and sign a wage agreement before the start of the school year. Let them stop hurting us and have stability after all these years."
Looking forward to returning to a stable education system
National Student Council spokeswoman Roni Kamai said: "After years of being at home, we expected to return to a stable education system, which would bring us annual trips and let us approach our matriculation prepared. I'm going into eleventh grade and I have no idea what my academic status is in any of the subjects. How with uncertainty can I approach adulthood? What about an Israeli journey?"

National Parent Leadership Chairman Merom Schiff said, "I think that less than 40 hours into school, students should have certainty. Students don't deserve to wander the streets, is that the message? We saw the missing number of teachers. With this it is impossible to agree. The education system is collapsing."
The students held up signs against Education Minister Kish and called on the parties to sit down for a discussion. "My education finance minister is expensive," they shout.
