At the end of a complex operation, the head of the criminal organization Samir Bakri, who has been wanted for several months, and another suspect, Bakri's deputy, a resident of Nazareth, were arrested on Wednesday. Bakri's organization is considered to be identified in the bloody conflict in the Arab sector, along with that of Nasser Hariri. The ongoing bloody conflict has led to some 30 deaths in recent years.

In the activity of the special forces of the Northern Special Unit, the offender Samir Bakri, who was wanted for the past four months on suspicion of crimes of order, murder and violence. Along with him, his deputy in the community of Bosmat Tivon was also arrested today.
The arrest occurred after special police forces raided a compound in the community. When the forces entered, the perpetrator tried to escape. After a foot chase through the alleys of the settlement, he was arrested. As stated, his deputy was also arrested at the compound and a Rubicon jeep vehicle suspected of being used yesterday to commit the murder near Megiddo Junction was seized.
Large forces of Northern District police and Border Policemen operated at the end of May in Nazareth and Kafr Kaabia against the Bakri crime family and arrested several suspects suspected of involvement in the violence due to a conflict between criminals. The head of the organization, Samir Bakri, has not been arrested and fled, until now. Following the manhunt, police hung his picture around Nazareth, adding that he was needed by the police.
