Tel Aviv District Commander Lt. Gen. Peretz Amar and Yarkon District Commander Tantz Eitan Menashe and many police officers serving together came with the wounded policeman to Ichilov Hospital to support his family.

During the demonstration, the demonstrators began to break through the security circles and fences set up to maintain their safety, using force and descending to Ayalon and blocking traffic, throwing objects, planks, fences and lighting bonfires.

During last night's violent events, four demonstrators were detained for questioning on suspicion of rioting and assaulting police officers.

Leaders of the "Justice for Rafael" protest over a Molotov cocktail thrown last night at a demonstration: "This is a hate crime. It is clear to us that this is someone who deliberately infiltrated the demonstration in order to harm both the demonstrators and the police. They ask the Israel Police to arrest him immediately. Everyone dispersed safely, except for a handful who came to confront the police. This handful was infiltrated by a young man who does not belong to the demonstration and is not a member of the Ethiopian community, and managed to tarnish an entire community with this criminal act."
