The Immigration Authority will renew the granting of entry visas to Christians working for Israel. Population and Immigration Authority Director General Eyal Siso met on Tuesday with representatives of three global Christian Zionist organizations operating from Israel to discuss the issue of visas for their staff.
Sisu informed evangelical representatives from the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem, Bridges for Peace and the Christian Friends of Israel that there was no change in Israel's policy toward Christian Zionist organizations, adding that the country would continue to welcome them warmly and appreciated their support for Israel.

It was also decided that the previous arrangement from 2020, regarding visas for these organizations, will continue to be validated by the Ministry of Interior until new procedures are approved to meet the long-term needs of these organizations. The Christian Zionist organizations would like to thank Sisu for his words and for his positive attitude regarding their work on behalf of Israel.
About a month ago, the Foreign Ministry headquarters in Jerusalem instructed Israeli embassies operating in countries with broad Christian audiences to explain the changes in visa arrangements for Christians active in Israel.

The ministry explained that these were only technical changes, but in the past two years, visa applications from four of its members have not been approved. According to its officials, the refusals have led to a situation "in which the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem is slowly being erased from its existence by the Interior Ministry. We cannot continue our vital work to build global Christian support for Israel."
