Highlights: The Spanish fashion chain Zara raised the prices of its items in Israel, both in stores and on the website. A random check of several items shows that the rate of increase can reach up to 16%. The Facebook group "Zara Proactive Club of Fans" presented evidence of recent price increases. Users were outraged by the price differences compared to prices abroad. For example, a long waterproof padded coat for women costs NIS 259 in Israel. In Spain, the same coat costs 39.95 euros, i.e. 164 shekels.

The increase in prices enraged users • "I purchased a leotard for 85.9 shekels - now it costs 99.9 shekels," said one member of the Facebook group "Zara a fan club" • Anger at the growing differences between prices in Israel and the chain's prices abroad • "We were now in Italy, half the price in Israel, I was shocked and nervous"

The price increases also reached the fashion sector: the Spanish fashion chain Zara raised the prices of its items in Israel, both in stores and on the website. A random check of several items shows that the rate of increase can reach up to 16%.

The Facebook group "Zara Proactive Club of Fans" presented evidence of recent price increases. One of the group's members said, "Last June I bought a leotard for 85.9 shekels – now it costs 99.9 shekels." The user showed two photos from Zara's website in Israel. One of the body garment with the current price after the price increase and the image of the clothing item with the previous price. This rate of increase stands at 16.2%.

In response, various users wrote that they also noticed the change in prices. For example, one user wrote, "Prices have gone up. I saw it in many items that cost 20-30 shekels." Another wrote, "I came across pants that cost 169 shekels and the price went up to 189 shekels." Other users pointed to the same rate of increase. One wrote, "Their high pants now cost 189 shekels. From the shopping basket from a month ago, I bought for less, for 169 shekels. Audacity, that's a 12% increase."

The second wrote, "Yes, the prices have gone up, the models that cost 169 shekels, now they cost 189 shekels and the jeans cost 229 shekels, very annoying."

Users were outraged by the price differences compared to prices abroad. For example, one wrote, "We were in Italy now, in my life half the price in Israel. I was shocked and nervous that it was a waste of time." Another claimed, "Only in Israel did they immigrate. Learn the shopping psychology of Israelis – buying despite everything." They added: "In Spain, the price remains 13 euros, which is 52 shekels, almost half the price. It's delusional that they make fun of the Israeli consumer like that, Zara is significantly more expensive here anyway."
