"Our ties are strengthening": Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met tonight (between Tuesday and Wednesday) with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The two were supposed to meet two months ago in Istanbul, but due to Netanyahu's hospitalization, the meeting was postponed. Erdogan's office said the two were expected to discuss "bilateral relations in all their dimensions, and steps to improve cooperation."

Earlier, Netanyahu met with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy. At the start of the meeting, when asked about his expectations for Israel, Zelensky replied that he expected "a lot."

As the meeting began, Zelensky hugged Mossad chief Dadi Barnea. Zelensky also told Barnea at the start of the meeting that he was "happy to see him."
