Southern District police and soldiers detained three suspects on Saturday for involvement in the incident and attempted obstruction of the investigation in a violent incident that developed into a vehicular incident in which an 18-year-old boy was killed last night in the community of Hura in southern Israel.
Police forces from the Southern District worked to locate the suspect involved in last night's incident in the community, as a result of which the victim was injured. The boy was later pronounced dead at Soroka Medical Center. Additional details indicate that there was apparently a preliminary incident between the victim and the raptors who were arrested. The incident developed into violence between them, following which the suspect ran him over.
In the early hours of this morning, police located the suspect in the ramming, a relative of the victim, and two other suspects from the community on suspicion of their involvement in an attempt to disrupt the investigation. The suspects, in their 20s, were detained for interrogation conducted by the central unit of the Negev region.
