The people of Israel were exposed to the riot that took place in Tel Aviv's Dizengoff Square upon the departure of Kippur, but it was a riot that was expected, because all signs were on the table even earlier.

The protest began to take shape in early September, when secular residents of the street decided to unite to protest the prayer of the Jewish Head organization. Attorney Yair Nahorai, a prominent anti-religious activist who was responsible, among other things, for past publications of rabbinical statements, such as Rabbi Levinstein, was recruited for the event, who helped draft letters to the Tel Aviv municipality in order to prevent the expected partition from being erected. Israel Hayom has learned that Nehorai is one of the driving forces trying to turn the protest against the reform into an anti-religious struggle, and is provoking provocations in order to incite the fire there.

Initially, it was a number of residents who were members together of a WhatsApp group called "Neighbors of a Jewish Head," whose existence was revealed in Israel Hayom, but within a short time groups leading the protest also entered the struggle.

The promo was last week, during a demonstration against Rabbi Levinstein's conversation, which ended with the rabbi and the CEO of the head of Jewish Jews Zeira being escorted by the police. But the main event was the organization's Yom Kippur prayers on Dizengoff Street, and for this purpose they prepared. The rulings in the District Court and the High Court of Justice against the erection of a partition and gender separation, and the announcement by a Jewish head that they would perform the prayers in separation "legally" encouraged the activists to come to the site and provoke a provocation.

Prominent protest activists against the legal reform were behind the protest that took place on Dizengoff Street. According to sources within the protest, the plan was to seat women next to the worshippers in order to provoke a provocation, but there was no plan to blow up the event as it eventually happened. "The demonstrators knew there would be separation and wanted to make sure they followed the court order. If men and women had not been separated by Israeli flags, the event would not have exploded and we would have seen only women sitting next to the men," said a source who participated in the protest.

The demonstrators entered the prayer hall and began dismantling the partition, leading to loud clashes with the worshippers. "You don't want us to come to your settlements and talk about women's equality and LGBT rights," one protester told Zeira. The demonstrators accompanied the worshippers with loud cries of "no forgiveness" and "shame," whistled and interrupted their prayers.

Yair Nahorai confirmed that he was involved in the demonstration in Dizengoff. "Yesterday, the Jewish and democratic State of Israel fought back against the emissaries of the messianic dictatorship. This is not a war over Judaism or religion, but against the messianic stream that cynically uses Jewish values to realize its messianic vision of conquering the strongholds of liberal cities on the way to applying the Torah as the constitution of the state."
