An unusual incident occurred today (Thursday) during an Israir flight from Naples, Italy to Israel, when one of the passengers asked the crew to evacuate about two minutes before landing, was refused and dumped his water outside the plane's toilet.
According to the safety instructions, which apply to all flights worldwide, passengers are not allowed to get up from their seats in the minutes before the plane lands. After the crew refused to allow the passenger to get up to the bathroom, since the plane was about to land in Israel, he dumped his water outside the toilet compartment. According to the airline, the same passenger also cursed while committing the act.

The incident took place on an Israir flight, but on a chartered plane belonging to a foreign airline, where most of the crew was foreign, except for one representative of the Israeli airline. It is still unclear what caused the passenger to act in this way.
Another unusual incident took place yesterday at Ben Gurion Airport, when a man undressed and beat passengers waiting there. The man was arrested and later brought in for psychiatric evaluations.
In response to the incident, Israir said: "The passenger asked to be evacuated to the toilet 2 minutes before landing, while passengers are asked to remain seated due to aviation safety rules. Despite this, the passenger refused to obey the crew's instructions, and threw his water near the toilet, uttering curses. Israir attaches great importance to maintaining flight safety, and condemns inappropriate behavior in it."
