Smart over new: What started as a trend for the rich only has long been public knowledge – and these are the electric charging columns that in the past year have been really hard to ignore. One of the most popular companies that has become a household name in the field is Wallbox, which creates smart charging systems that combine the latest technology with exceptional design.

The result for anyone wondering is a smart charging system that integrates the car, charger, home and app. All in one electrifying package.

Wallbox, a leading provider of electric vehicle ("EV") charging and energy management solutions worldwide, is celebrating an impressive milestone of selling more than 1,000 industry-leading Supernova DC fast chargers.

Introduced last year and now sold to more than 80 customers in 30 countries, this achievement highlights the rapid adoption of Wallbox's innovative technology, one that increases reliability while providing a flexible route to power upgrades.

Customers now include many of the world's most respected companies, including Iberdrola, BeCharge, Atlante and Osprey.

Which only further emphasizes the trust the company has built, its technological expertise and its attention to customer satisfaction.

The company's Israeli customers will surely be happy to learn that it is only expanding around the world.

Wallbox has been present in the country for 4 years through the partners Scala Energy and Schnapp and its success continues to be contagious.

Numerous achievements

"We achieved in just over a year what it took most companies three or four years to achieve. We introduced and scaled our innovative DC fast charger into one of today's leading platforms, with customer commitments of more than 12,000 units," enthusiastically reveals Enric Asunción, co-founder and CEO of Wallbox. "Reaching this important milestone highlights our customer's need for a reliable, cost-effective and flexible approach to solving a complex problem.

I am very excited about what's to come as we continue to expand Supernova's market presence into North America later this year, offering new power and hardware configurations, including NACS, CCS and CHAdeMO, and providing leading installation, maintenance and support."

Supernova is ideal for public charging in urban or intercity places, as well as in semi-public parking lots (including supermarkets, malls or fast food restaurants).

In less than 15 minutes, a power output of 60kWh adds around 96km of range – enough to cover the average need in the city, while drivers enjoy a cup of coffee, tidy up or shop.

Supernova is Wallbox's next-generation DC fast charger designed to satisfy the industry's desire for reliable and efficient public charging for both EV drivers and charging point operators.

Its latest generation, the Supernova 180, is specifically designed for the North American market and will support up to 180 kW of charging speed.

It leverages an innovative modular approach, the ability to charge multiple electric vehicles simultaneously in split-charge configurations, is interoperable with all vehicle manufacturers, models and charging standards, and offers unlimited customizable switching options.

Supernova's reduced footprint also opens up more potential sites for faster network growth, giving access to fast charging even in places with limited space and power such as gas stations, high-power charging hubs, car dealerships and shopping malls.

So who is the company?

Wallbox is a global technology company, dedicated to changing the way the world uses energy. The company creates advanced electric vehicle charging and energy management systems that redefine users' connection to the grid.

Wallbox goes beyond EV charging to give users the power to control their consumption, save money and simply live longer.

It offers a complete portfolio of residential, semi-public and public charging and energy management solutions in more than 115 countries around the world.

Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Barcelona, the company now employs about 1,200 people in its offices in Europe, Asia and the Americas.

Its dynamic power load management solution enhances the charging experience for many, preventing power outages and power bill surprises. They claim that the product will measure the electricity consumption in your home in real time and automatically adjust the charging consumption for your electric vehicle, depending on the power of the local network.

One of them is the Sirius platform - energy management for businesses. This pioneering solution enables energy management that partially integrates the power grid with your company's renewable energy sources.

Such as your batteries and other energy sources. At the same time, the platform balances them in real time to satisfy the building's energy demand while optimizing energy costs and environmental impact.

The Sirius platform works in conjunction with a Quasar charger, Wallbox's two-way charger, allowing buildings to use their fleet of electric vehicles as an additional source of energy. Sirius is leading the shift for businesses to use clean, reliable energy and lower consumption costs.
