The Israel Police opened an investigation a short time ago (Sunday) following a shooting incident in Ashkelon in which a 25-year-old man was murdered in a violent incident on Olei Gallows Street in the city. MDA teams gave him medical treatment and evacuated him to Barzilai Hospital in critical condition while performing CPR, with penetrating injuries, but were forced to pronounce him dead.
According to the initial suspicion, the background to the incident is a conflict between criminals. More details below.
MDA paramedic Yuval Haddad said: "The injured man was lying unconscious on the pavement without a pulse and without breathing with penetrating wounds to his body. We immediately began performing advanced resuscitation and urgently evacuated him to hospital in critical condition."
