Election propaganda at the municipal hotline - Kfar Saba residents who called the municipal hotline in recent days to report a safety hazard, garbage removal or any other problem, were required to listen to election propaganda by Mayor Rafi Sa'ar.

Before receiving a response from the dispatchers, they received the following message: "Dear residents, this is Rafi Sa'ar, the mayor. In honor of the New Year I wish you a happy, healthy, happy New Year, a sweet New Year. A year in which we will continue to work for you so that you will enjoy our wonderful city. Happy New Year."

Attorney Dr. Matan Gutman contacted the municipality on her behalf. "The mayor's election slogan is as it appears on the recording: 'Keep going.' This is about exploiting municipal resources to promote his political candidacy. This is not the first time that Sa'ar's name has been associated with prohibited election propaganda, exploiting municipal resources. Only recently, the legal counsel ruled that Saar must remove his photos and name from marketing content funded by the municipality."

Following a request from Israel Hayom, the recording was removed. A spokesperson for the Kfar Saba municipality said in response: "This is a technical malfunction, in the framework of which an old pool from last year was raised. Upon learning of the incident, the blessing was immediately removed."
