Senior Likud figures arrived Tuesday evening at the sukkah of Rafi Kadosim, who was previously convicted of criminal offenses and is a candidate for mayor of Herzliya.
Justice Minister Yariv Levin praised him in the sukkah erected in the city: "The man does so much for the public, our goal is for him to head the largest faction in the city council."
Culture and Sports Minister Miki Zohar said of Kadolim: "There is no better fit than him to lead the list." Ministers Israel Katz, Galit Distal Atabrian and May Golan also arrived. Also arriving was Likud MK Kati Shitrit.
Senior Likud figures have often appeared alongside Kadodim, who has served prison sentences on four separate occasions.
