A Jewish shepherd from the community of Ash Kodesh was attacked on Monday by dozens of Palestinians from the village of Qusra who threw stones at him. The shepherd was hit in the face by one of the stones and sustained minor injuries.

Residents who rushed to his aid were also attacked by the rioters, who, along with additional reinforcements from the village, already numbered nearly 100 people. The residents, together with IDF forces, managed to push the Palestinians back to the village.
Villagers reported to Yesh Din a large incident of assault in the village. During the incident, they reported that the military came to the village and fired teargas and rubber at the Palestinian residents. The villagers also said that there were apparently casualties at the scene. The organization wrote on its Twitter page that "the settlers sabotage and sow damage to chicken coops in the village, while the military allows it and even fires gas and rubber at any Palestinian who tries to approach the chicken coops to protect property."
An IDF spokesperson said: "A violent confrontation, which included mutual stone-throwing, developed earlier this evening between Israeli and Palestinian civilians on the outskirts of the village of Qusra in the Binyamin Brigade area. During the conflict, a Palestinian truck was vandalized and damaged. IDF forces that arrived at the scene dispersed the confrontation with crowd control measures and firing into the air."
