The delegation, which was authorized by a charter signed by Prime Minister Netanyahu, will participate in an international conference in Riyadh from Monday to Wednesday, where it will meet representatives from around the world, and represent the State of Israel in Saudi Arabia to the occasion of peace.
During the visit, as part of the UPU conference, Minister Qari is expected to address media ministers and representatives from around the world - a speech that will be broadcast on the conference website. In addition, the minister is expected to meet with the US ambassador to Saudi Arabia, the Turkish minister of communications, and more.
The minister was even invited as an Oshpizin to the sukkah of Mohammed Saud, a friend of Israel from Riyadh, and is expected to visit his home - Succat Shalom.
About a week ago, Tourism Minister Haim Katz visited Saudi Arabia. The minister arrived with his entourage on a historic visit to Riyadh in order to take part in a conference of the United Nations Tourism Organization (UNWTO). He said he "did not agree to come as a guest, but as an official official on behalf of the State of Israel."
