Israel's High Court of Justice on Monday approved the demolition of the home of one of the terrorists who murdered the brothers Hillel Weigel Yaniv in an attack in Huwara six months ago.
Justice Yechiel Kasher wrote in his ruling that "the indications that there is doubt as to whether demolishing terrorists' homes creates deterrence are 60 null and void in the face of clear evidence that demolition is indeed effective today in creating deterrence."

Hillel Weigel, who studied in the Seder track at the Seder yeshivas in Kiryat Shmona and Givat Olga, were murdered on the way back from their home to their yeshivas. An investigation of the attack revealed that the terrorist shot the two brothers at point-blank range. Twelve shell casings were found at the scene.
