The Netanya Rubber Ship Affair: In recent hours it became known that equipment and documents belonging to men and children from Somalia were found on the boat, one of them a toddler only three years old.
A report of a rubber boat being ejected onto the shore without people was received Sunday night, the maritime police and Netanya police station began searching after receiving a report from municipal officials about the incident. There were no people on board, but a large amount of personal equipment, documents and 8 passports belonging to citizens of the African country were found. Even today, efforts and searches continue to locate the boat's occupants, along with examination of the documents by the investigating authorities.
