A military parade held on Wednesday by Islamic Jihad's military wing in the Gaza Strip displayed several missiles and drones that, according to the organization, are entering operational capability for the first time.
The organization said that the new missiles exposed were Burak 10, Burak 60 and Burak 85. In addition, the military wing announced the development of Badr 3 missiles with a warhead weighing 400 kg.Moreover, the military wing announced the development of UAVs of several types for offensive purposes, photography and intelligence gathering.

Akram al-Ajouri, the strongman in Islamic Jihad's military-terrorist wing, which operates abroad, said in remarks broadcast during the march that "our enemies are planning and plotting, but their plans will not succeed, the decision is about to come. Anyone who seeks to harm you, Gaza, the West Bank, Jerusalem, and Jenin, must know that the members of the military wing have a strong arm and determination."

Islamic Jihad's show of strength came about five months after it suffered a blow in the recent operation in Gaza, in which a series of senior commanders in its military wing were assassinated. Gaza said that "the organization is sending a clear message to the enemy that the blood of the martyrs will be the path towards freedom for all of Palestine."
Ahmad al-Mudallal, a member of the jihad's political bureau, said that "the sword will not be put into the sheath until the goals of our people are achieved. The military wing is still strong and it is the one that created new equations in the battle arenas, and resistance today has become a symbol on all fronts."

The parade was held to mark the anniversary of the organization's founding, and is a continuation of a military maneuver carried out yesterday by the organization, during which a barrage of rockets was fired at the sea. The exercise involved field fighters and forces from elite artillery, rocket and intelligence units, and simulated airstrikes on several sites, using live fire.
