Maryam Abu Daqa, leader of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in Gaza, is the guest of honor at the University of Lyon • French MP Meir Habib appealed to the minister in charge: "Stop rolling out the red carpet for terrorist organizations" • Lecture topic: "Israeli occupation and apartheid, what future for the Palestinians?" • The attack, carried out by an ISIS terrorist, killed four people, including one Israeli woman

In a particularly outrageous timing – the leader of the Palestinian terrorist organization will arrive at the prestigious university as the guest of honor: French MP Meir Habib together with members of his party sent a letter to the Minister of Higher Education, Sylvie Ratayu, demanding that Maryam Abu Daqa, leader of the Popular Front in Gaza, be banned from the lecture by Maryam Abu Daqa, leader of the Popular Front in Gaza, at Lyon University.

The lecture is supposed to take place almost exactly 43 years (took place on October 5, 1980) after the attack on the synagogue in Paris in which four people were murdered, including the Israeli Aliza Shagrir. The terrorist, Hassan Diab, belonged to the PFLP. The lecture titled "Israeli Occupation and Apartheid: What Future for the Palestinians?" is scheduled to take place at Lyon 2 University, a faculty focusing on the social sciences and arts.

In a letter submitted by Habib along with Republican Party Chairman Eric Sciotti, they demanded that "the lecture be banned. This is a lecture that is a disgrace. After the festive reception held by the far left in the National Assembly for terrorist Saleh Hamouri – also a member of the PFLP – how long will our institutions continue to roll out the red carpet to terrorist organizations? The PFLP is responsible for the hijacking of an Air France plane to Entebbe, the attack on the synagogue on Kopernick Street and countless attacks in Israel."

The writers added: "Tomorrow we will mark 43 years since the anti-Semitic attack on Kopernik Street in which three French citizens were killed along with an Israeli journalist. The perpetrators of the attack are still free. What message do we send to the families of the victims and in general to the victims of anti-Semitism? How is it conceivable that we finance with taxpayer money, anti-Semitism and the promotion of terrorism in our country?"

"This woman was introduced by the organizers as a 'feminist activist,'" Habib said. "Stop rolling out the red carpet for terrorist organizations."
