Members of the Elyakim family arrived at the missing persons center in the airport on Sunday looking for their five family members who live in Nahal Oz, the terrorists who entered the house made a live broadcast showing the family members, and later in a day pictures of them were also found – apparently in Gaza.

The mother of one of the missing cries out to the chairman of the health committee: "I'm collapsing - I just want my son!"

The family members are Noam Elyakim, his daughters Dafna (15) and Ella (8). Noam's partner, Dikla Arava, and her son Tomer (15). The family lives in Nahal Oz. Terrorists who entered their homes apparently livestreamed from Dikla's phone. When Shabbat ended, family members were exposed to the videos.

Noam's cousin, Nitzan, said: "We are religious people, and from the moment we heard what happened we understood that it was an emergency. We contacted the family. In the morning, Dikla reported in a family WhatsApp group that they were in the safe room and everything was fine, but later our family members were exposed to a video showing Noam injured and gave him a tourniquet."

"I contacted a local emergency team, and from what I was told, the army went house-to-house and there are no people alive or dead – that is, those who were probably kidnapped. Then we continued searching and found photos of the two girls sitting on mattresses, taken in Gaza. They were all kidnapped. There are pictures of them from captivity."

He said: "Noam is a physically and mentally strong guy, he's been through some things in life. The look in his eyes conveys terror, but it also conveys wisdom and understanding and how it is right and proper to behave in order to preserve as much as possible the family's peace. Noam's parents gave their consent to the release of the video and ask anyone who can help to do so."

Nitzan wants to exert pressure on European countries to return the abductees, first and foremost the small children.

"This is Europe's mission – not only to condemn terrorism but also to act actively. Use all the cranes to save as many of them as possible and certainly the little boys and girls. We want him to make every effort to locate a sign of life from each member of the family and, of course, to return them safe and sound to their families."
