Against the background of the shortage of products in the branches of the food chains, those who want to place orders on the websites of the various food chains today (Monday) will have to wait up to 6 days for the delivery to arrive, due to the shortage of workers and the high demand for the products, which causes heavy loads.
A source in the food chains told Israel Hayom that "online is a very complex event right now. The demand is crazy and we're trying to keep up with it. There is a great shortage of manpower, including drivers. Even in normal times, it is impossible to withstand it."

Eyal Ravid, owner of the Victory chain, wrote about the issue on Facebook, pointing out the shortage of workers: "Note that there is no shortage of food in the supermarket chains, and especially not in the Victory chain. At the moment there is an onslaught, I can understand, but keep in mind that it takes a little patience and tolerance. Lots of employees don't come to work (each one and his reason). We will be happy to accept anyone who wishes to lend a hand in the work, even without experience. Suppliers have a lot of drivers and employees recruited, and still we all keep our finger on the pulse and do everything possible to give you the best service. I ask everyone for patience and tolerance. Together we will win, we have no other country."
