Last June, Katya Averbuch gave birth to her eldest daughter Rita, who she shares with her partner Lior Oren, whom she first met under the chuppah on the program "Wedding at First Sight". On Monday, Averbuch spoke in her personal Instagram column about how she feels as a mother of a baby during a difficult security situation when the future is uncertain, and about the decision she made that will help her change the difficult mood that directly affects the toddler as well.
"I know that there are quite a few other mothers here on maternity leave, maybe like me after a first birth, and I think maybe like me you feel in a whole new world of feelings, uncertainty, and worry that I didn't know," Katya wrote in her opening remarks, which she brought against the background of a photo of her daughter in her stroller. "Suddenly it's not just me, suddenly it's the need to assure her that things will be okay, that tomorrow will come and he'll be better, to smile at her and hide her worry," she continued to share the heavy responsibility she now carries on her shoulders.

Later in her speech, Averbuch wanted to share her ways of coping with the situation, and the decision she made in order to maintain as much peace of mind as possible, which will also have a positive effect on the heir to the throne. "In the last 24 hours I've been trying to keep TV time to a minimum. It's hard, but doing it by force and it helps. Spend time with her and not be on the phone at the same time. As strange as it is, I feel that she sees, understands and feels our feelings. I want to give her back the routine she's used to, parents smiling at her, in the hope that she'll absorb as much calm as possible."
