The US ambassador also made it clear to Berri that the US and the international community would not stand idly by if Hezbollah intervened. Berry told her: "We are not interested in escalation, go talk to the Israelis."
Subsequently, the editor of the newspaper Al-Akhbar, which is close to Hezbollah, wrote this morning, citing his sources, that coordination between forces and his government, the "axis of resistance" (pro-Iranian), has continued at a high pace over the past 24 hours.

According to the report, Hamas and its aides consulted and confirmed that they were prepared to tolerate the current conflict, but senior Axis officials stressed that there was a "red line" that could lead to an explosion throughout the region if Israel crossed it.
