A happy bright spot: In the shadow of the war, a wedding was held today (Thursday) in the community of Dishon on the northern border.
Gal and Liran's wedding from Safed, in the shadow of the war
The groom, Gal, was drafted by Order 8 to reserve duty in the Alexandroni Brigade. He was supposed to marry his daughter-in-law, Liran, tomorrow. The couple who lived in Safed did not know what to do with the wedding and the wedding, and the bride decided to pick up the event spontaneously.

The event was organized this morning, after yesterday the bride called the organizer of the event, Samdi Akrish, owner of a design and production company that was supposed to produce the couple's wedding tomorrow, in Gan Sulam Yaakov. Samadi was sure that, like other events in the near future, this wedding would also be canceled: "I encouraged the bride, and then she told me that she wanted to have a chuppah. Even though the groom is in Order 8," she says of the surprising phone call.

Yesterday afternoon it still looked like the event would be cancelled due to the sirens, but this morning the bride announced that the event was held at noon: "We immediately organized. Brigade Rabbi Lewis pitched in. We weaved flowers. People brought cake. Organize a photographer. The bride organized herself and announced as she approached the settlement."

"On the way a lot of people asked me what to bring, but the bride promised the battalion commander that there would be no gathering. They entered the canopy in an ornate Hummer from nature. The groom prepared a bouquet of flowers from nature for the bride. The soldiers stood with Israeli flags. It's the most exciting wedding I've ever been to. Everyone was dancing and making merry."
