Highlights: First special flight for Germans from Israel landed. 370 Germans on board. Buses were waiting in Frankfurt to take people off the tarmac. Further flights on behalf of the German Foreign Ministry are to follow. The special aircraft had taken off from Tel Aviv at noon and landed at Frankfurt at 7.30pm on Thursday. The flight is to be used to bring Germans back to Germany from Israel, which has been attacked by the Islamist Hamas. The first special flight from Israel arrived at Frankfurt Airport on Thursday evening.
