IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevy addressed the situation in Israel for the second time since the outbreak of the "Iron Swords" war. Halevy said in a statement: "We are five days after a murderous and surprising event, Hamas's massacre of our children, our women, our people, is bestial, it is inhumane. The IDF is fighting merciless terrorists who have committed unimaginable acts wherever there are people, wherever there is humanity."
