The northern sector: Syrian media reported today a combined Israeli attack in the area of the Damascus and Aleppo airports.
A security source told a Russian news agency that the defense systems were activated against Israeli missiles in the airport area. It was also reported that the attack coincided with another attack on Aleppo Airport. According to initial reports, both airports have been shut down.
Earlier, it was announced that Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Hossein Abdollahian was supposed to land at Damascus airport tomorrow. From there he was supposed to continue on a visit to Lebanon to discuss Israel's war against Hamas and Gaza and tensions in the north.
